METAD provides healthcare solutions and community development initiatives
to the underserved around the world.

The MEDICAL program specializes in providing healthcare solutions through medical services, self-sustaining clinics, gift-in-kind humanitarian aid, and educating health workers.  METAD is committed to assisting health practitioners and their support staff, as well as health organizations/facilities to make intelligent choices in obtaining medical products and consultative services

Humanitarian Aid

METAD assesses requests from developing country program personnel. These requests may come direct from the country or through other NGOs who have in country programs needing support. METAD acquires equipment and supplies and then provides the logistic support to ensure successful shipment of the goods to the receiving country. Follow up reports are required and many on-site visits are made by METAD personnel to ensure the shipments have been distributed properly.

Health Solutions

METAD evaluates need in developing countries and then transfers the proper knowledge, skills, supplies, technical assistance and appropriate technology to hospitals, clinics, and medical personnel serving the needs of the population. METAD collaborates with other NGOs to ensure maximum assistance is given and received with an eye on limiting duplication of services. The Ultimate goal in providing assistance is to fully ensure that the implemented health solutions are sustainable.

Pharmaceutical

METAD facilitates the transfer/donation of pharmaceuticals to the developing world through purchases and corporation asks. METAD uses the WHO essential drug list as the guideline for what is acceptable in the receiving country and will only provide pharmaceuticals with a minimum of 18-month expiration date, unless pre-approved by the recipient. A handling fee is assessed to cover costs.
